Chicken is a road-crossing multiplier game: send your chicken across twenty lanes of traffic one hop at a time, watch the multiplier on the next lane sign grow, and cash out while the run is still alive. One wrong lane and the round is over.
The appeal is the pace of the decision. Every hop is a fresh yes-or-no — go again or bank it — and the difficulty you pick before the round decides how dangerous each lane is, from a gentle one-in-five on Easy to a coin toss on Expert. The multiplier for every lane is printed on the road before you step onto it.
Difficulty sets the danger of every lane. Easy loses one hop in five, Medium one in four, Hard one in three and Expert one in two. Each safe hop multiplies your stake by the fair odds of surviving that lane less the house edge, so the lower the survival chance, the bigger each step up the ladder.
Easy tops out around 57.9x across all twenty lanes; Expert can reach 700,029.2999x, but surviving twenty coin tosses in a row is roughly a one-in-a-million event.
Each lane pays 98% of its fair multiplier, a 2.00% edge applied at every hop. Because it is applied per hop it compounds with depth: a short run gives up very little, while a full twenty-lane crossing carries a noticeably larger total edge. That is the honest trade-off behind the big numbers at the far side of the road.
Long runs on the harder settings climb past the per-bet cap. A per-bet maximum payout also applies, so a single win is paid up to that ceiling even when the multiplier climbs higher — the exact figure is shown in-game on the bet form.
Nothing about earlier lanes changes the next one — every hop is drawn fresh from the seed pair, the nonce and that hop's position in the round. The only real decision is your exit, so pick a target lane or multiplier before you start and take it when you reach it.
An unfinished crossing stays open for 24 hours, so a dropped connection never costs you the run. After that it settles automatically at the multiplier already earned; a round with no safe hop yet settles as a loss.
No betting system changes the house edge. Set a budget before you start, keep individual stakes small against your balance, and stop if it stops being entertainment.
Pick a difficulty, place your stake and press Go to hop the chicken into the next lane. Each safe hop raises the multiplier to the value on that lane's sign; cash out whenever you like, or keep going until you reach the far side or get hit.
Up to 700,029.2999x on Expert after all twenty lanes. A per-bet maximum payout also applies, so a single win is paid up to that ceiling even when the multiplier climbs higher — the exact figure is shown in-game on the bet form.
No. Every hop has the same chance of ending the run for the difficulty you chose, and the outcome is generated from the seed pair and nonce, not from your position or previous hops.
The round stays open for 24 hours and resumes when you come back. After that it settles automatically at the multiplier you had already earned.
Every round is generated from the active server seed, your client seed, and the bet nonce, so any result can be re-computed and checked independently. Sign in to view the active seed hash.
