1. Our approach to safer gambling

1.1

Bess Bet is for adult entertainment. Gambling involves a risk of loss and can cause financial, emotional and relationship harm. It must never be treated as income, an investment or a way to repay debt.

1.2

This policy explains practical ways to reduce harm, how to request limits or self-exclusion, and where to find independent help. It applies across the gambling products offered through your Bess Bet Account.

1.3

Fair game results do not make gambling risk-free. Neither a past win, a losing streak, a reward nor VIP status guarantees a future outcome. No safer-gambling tool can guarantee that harm will never occur.

2. Set boundaries before you play

2.1

If you choose to gamble:

  • set a spending budget you can afford to lose after essentials such as housing, food and bills;
  • set a time budget, take regular breaks and stop when either budget is reached;
  • never borrow, use credit or gamble with money belonging to someone else;
  • do not chase losses or increase your stake to recover a previous loss;
  • avoid gambling when distressed, tired or affected by alcohol or drugs; and
  • keep other interests and relationships outside gambling.
2.2

Crypto can make spending harder to track. Check the value of your deposits and wagers in a currency you understand, and account for price changes. A small-looking crypto amount can still represent money you cannot afford to lose.

2.3

Fast rounds and automatic play can build losses quickly. Choose your limits before starting, check your elapsed time and stop automatic play if you are losing track of your spending.

2.4

Rewards, races and promotions are optional. Do not keep playing to reach a tier, recover a bonus or qualify for an offer. Taking a break matters more than any reward.

3. Recognise when gambling is becoming harmful

3.1

Consider stopping and seeking help if you:

  • spend more money or time than you intended, or repeatedly fail to stop;
  • gamble to escape worry, distress or other problems;
  • hide your gambling, borrow money or miss bills because of it;
  • chase losses, feel you need larger stakes or become restless when trying to stop;
  • neglect work, sleep, family or relationships; or
  • continue despite harm to your finances or wellbeing.
3.2

You do not need to meet every sign or receive a diagnosis before asking for help. If gambling feels difficult to control, stop playing and contact support or an independent support service.

4. Deposit limits

4.1

You can ask Live Support on the Website to help you set or reduce daily, weekly or monthly deposit limits. Ask for confirmation of the currency, amount, period and when the limit becomes effective.

4.2

A reduction is intended to take effect immediately once applied. An increase is subject to the applicable cooling-off period; your existing lower limit continues during that period. Do not assume an increase is effective until it has been confirmed.

4.3

A deposit limit controls new deposits. It does not cap losses or wagers made with a balance already in your Account, and it does not guarantee that spending is affordable.

4.4

Limits may be recorded separately for different currencies. Tell support about every currency you use, and do not switch currencies, wallets or Accounts to avoid a limit.

4.5

This page does not promise that loss limits, session timers, reality checks or national self-exclusion registry connections are available. Ask support about the tools currently supported on your Account.

5. Request a break or self-exclusion

5.1

To request self-exclusion, contact Live Support on the Website and clearly say that you want to stop gambling. Give the Account details needed to identify you and say whether you want a fixed period or permanent exclusion. Do not send your password.

5.2

You may request exclusion for 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days, 6 months, 1 year or permanently. Ask support to confirm the option applied, its start time and any end time. A request must be recorded against the correct Account to be enforced.

5.3

Once an exclusion is active, gambling and deposits on the excluded Account are blocked, and sign-in may also be blocked. You can still contact support without signing in for help with the exclusion or remaining funds.

5.4

A fixed exclusion must not be shortened simply because you change your mind. A permanent exclusion has no automatic expiry; asking to return does not entitle you to reactivation. Contact support about any applicable review requirements.

5.5

If you think a request has not been applied, stop using the Account and contact support again immediately. Use device blocking tools and independent help while the issue is resolved.

6. What self-exclusion covers

6.1

Self-exclusion relates to Bess Bet. It does not automatically exclude you from unrelated operators or enrol you in a national scheme. You may need to contact other operators or a scheme available where you live separately.

6.2

Tell support about any other Bess Bet Accounts or identity details you have used so they can be considered when applying protection. Do not create another Account, use someone else’s Account or change identifying details to get around an exclusion.

6.3

If a linked Account or attempted circumvention is identified, we may restrict it and investigate under the Terms of Service. We cannot promise that every concealed or undisclosed Account will be identified immediately.

6.4

Attempts to bypass an exclusion do not create an automatic right to refunds, and they do not remove any duties Bess Bet owes under applicable law. Complaints about protection failures are assessed on their facts; this policy does not waive your statutory rights.

7. Remaining balances and rewards

7.1

You do not need to resume gambling to ask about a remaining cash balance. Contact support for a withdrawal or balance review if exclusion prevents normal Account access. Identity, ownership and AML checks may still be required.

7.2

Self-exclusion does not automatically confiscate a legitimate cash balance. Open wagers and any bonus conditions are handled under the applicable game rules, Terms of Service and law; support can explain the position for your Account.

7.3

We must not use a bonus, VIP offer or reward to persuade you to reverse an exclusion. Tell support if you receive a gambling promotion during an active exclusion so it can be investigated, and unsubscribe from promotional messages as an additional precaution.

8. When we may intervene

8.1

If you tell us gambling is causing harm, or we have a reasonable concern about your safety, we may contact you, request clarification, restrict access or apply an exclusion. We may decline to reopen an Account where doing so would be inappropriate or unlawful.

8.2

Support can assist with Account protections and direct you to independent help. It does not provide medical treatment, financial counselling or emergency care. We do not promise that activity patterns will identify every player experiencing harm.

9. Protecting minors

9.1

You must be at least 18 and meet the legal gambling age where you live if it is higher. Minors must not use Bess Bet, even with an adult’s permission.

9.2

Keep Account credentials private, sign out on shared devices and do not leave a gambling session accessible to a child. Consider parental controls and gambling-site blocking software on devices used by minors.

9.3

If you suspect a minor has accessed an Account, stop their access and contact Live Support on the Website immediately. We may suspend access and request age verification.

10. Independent help and blocking tools

10.1

Gambling Therapy offers online support for people affected by gambling, including help in different languages and assistance finding local resources. You can contact them about your own gambling or concern for somebody else.

10.2

Gambling-site blocking tools can add protection across devices. Check the provider’s current coverage, instructions and privacy terms, and consider asking someone you trust to help you put the blocks in place.

10.3

Independent organisations and tools are separate from Bess Bet. Their availability and coverage may vary, and a link is not a guarantee of their service. Blocking software complements Account exclusion and support; it does not replace them.

10.4

If you feel in immediate danger or at risk of harming yourself, contact your local emergency service or crisis service now and reach out to someone you trust.

11. Contact, privacy and updates

11.1

Use Live Support on the Website to request a limit or exclusion, report a protection issue or ask about remaining funds. Make the request explicit so it can be handled as a safer-gambling matter.

11.2

We may retain exclusion and related records to enforce protections, investigate a complaint and comply with law. Deleting an Account or changing your details does not cancel an exclusion. Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled.

11.3

The version and date above identify the current policy. We may update it as the Services and available protections change. Nothing in this policy limits protections or rights required by applicable law.
